HARDENING AND TEMPERING

The main advantages of vacuum quenching are small deformations, reduced stress levels and clean surface.
For carbonitration and nitration/oxidation the main ones advantages are obtaining a high shallow hardness, corrosion resistance, good appearance and extended life of the tool.
